Speckles, The Hamster Wins Big at Town Pet Parade

July 1st, 2006, Holly decided to take her adorable pet hamster, Speckles in to the town recreational center to enter the Pet Parade. Little did she know what a great day it would be for the two of them.

As you can see by the photos, Holly and Speckles cleaned up in the awards department with a 2nd place in "Pet/Owner Look Alike" (I'm seeing the resemblance, yes!), 2nd in "Best Float" and a 3rd place finish in "Funniest Looking". Holly says she told the judges Speckles was a toy Chihuahua and they greatly appreciated her humor. Great job & congrats to both Holly and Speckles!
